Introducing Gopher Protocol’s “dDrone” technology which uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create the world’s first ‘Smart Drone’. This new drone technology uses machine learning to give drones advanced flight capabilities. Our new AI drone technology can solve complex problems related to geo-locations, weather conditions and obstacle avoidance. This enables the smart drone to fly intelligently and safely to give the exact flight you want.

We designed our AI system with two main features: one is its capacity to learn, and the other is its ability to solve complex problems in real time. The dDrone AI system is equipped with deep learning, similar to IBM Watson’s which allows it to dynamically solve complex calculations. We created this technology to perform tasks, make decisions, and solve problems based on its massive parallel processing and learning capabilities. In essence, the system continuously learns from its previous flights.

This cutting-edge system can calculate an incredible number of possible scenarios in a fraction of a second, and analyze dynamic conditions to pick the best response to achieve a successful drone mission. Based on its learning capabilities, 'decisions' are made in real time to make sure the correct action is taken. The artificial intelligence relies on inputs from the tracking system, environmental sensors, camera input, audio and more. Among our dDrone technology features are Collision avoidance, Autonomous Operation, Terrain Pattern Follow, automatic re-charging and more.

Here is a working prototype of our drone, with the modified remote control and additional Gopher Protocol electronic systems. Our AI supervised technology consists of hardware and software components to enable smart drone operation.

In this first test flight we show stable flight which is completely controlled by our AI supervised System.

In this next demonstration, the drone is in automatic “follow mode” where it’s using the on-board sensors to automatically follow the operator.

This final flight is showing the drone coming in for an automatic landing because it senses a drop in the battery charge and automatically searches for a charging station. Based on its RF signal the drone automatically navigates and lands at its wireless charging station.

We are continuing to develop this exciting new technology so that it expands beyond what’s currently possible in today’s autonomous drone flight operations.

Gopher Protocol AI – The dDrone implementation

Gopher’s dDrone technology creates Smart Drones. Its core “wisdom” is based on machine learning which is a modern Artificial Intelligence (AI) system. Learning is considered as a parameter for intelligent machines. As humans are still superior to computers in many ways, we created a technology that can perform tasks, make decisions, and solve problems based on massive parallel processing and learning capabilities. In abstract, we created a technology and gave it a human’s feature, an instinct, and common sense. Our system learns from its experiences.

Watson can solve a complex problem, for example, how to treat a rare form of cancer — and it has done so. So is our dDrone AI system. Are we creating a technology similar to the Terminator movie? Well, definitely when it comes to autonomous, smart AI system. An example is our dDrone technology. Yet, we always left the final control in the hands of humans, of course. The important thing to keep in mind is that it is not man versus machine, It is not a competition. It is a collaboration.
