Rolling Stone’s hit piece on Sarah Palin!

Posted by Carlos C. on Wednesday, September 24th, 2008 at 1:12 pm

Palin is a symbol of everything that is wrong with the modern United States. As a representative of our political system, she’s a new low in reptilian villainy, the ultimate cynical masterwork of puppeteers like Karl Rove. But more than that, she is a horrifying symbol of how little we ask for in return for the total surrender of our political power. Not only is Sarah Palin a fraud, she’s the tawdriest, most half-assed fraud imaginable, 20 floors below the lowest common denominator, a character too dumb even for daytime TV — and this country is going to eat her up, cheering her every step of the way. All because most Americans no longer have the base energy to do anything but lie back and allow ourselves to be jacked off by the calculating thieves who run this grasping consumer paradise we call a nation…

…She appeared to be completely without shame and utterly full of shit, awing a room full of hardened reporters with her sickly-sweet line about the high-school-flame-turned-hubby who “five children later,” is “still my guy.” It was like watching Gidget address the Reichstag.

Jann Wenner, proud Obama cultist, published this idiotic hit piece on Sarah Palin. All I read is vitriolic bile and hatred flowing from Wenner’s mind to her his pen and keyboard. Wenner chastises the Palin’s lifelong love and 20-year marriage. If Sarah Palin were a lesbian with a partner, Wenner would laud their commitment. I thought liberals were supposed to be peaceful and loving towards all of humanity?

Jann Wenner is everything that is wrong with the United States liberal media and tabloids. Wenner abuses her his freedom of press by publishing pure, libelous trash. Also, as the emails on Malkin’s blog point out, Wenner is now distributing this crap to young voters through the mail unsolicited. There is now a concentrated effort to write “REFUSED” in bold, black letters on the magazine and have the magazine mailed back to Rolling Stone at Rolling Stone’s cost!

Jann Wenner, continue your attacks. You are just creating new McCain-Palin voters.

Hat Tip: Michelle Malkin

UPDATE 1:
Jann Wenner is a “man”. Thanks Ace.

You’re thinking of “Christians.” I’m pretty sure that Jesus didn’t have an American political affiliation.

  3. Kenneth says:

Incidentally, you’ve managed to extract just the part that outraged you. Here’s another snippet of the very long article:

    http://brightideasgroupblog.blogspot.com/2008/09/matt-taibbis-lies-of-sarah-palin.html

“It is worth noting that the same criticisms of Palin also hold true for two other candidates in this race, John McCain and Barack Obama. As politicians, both men are more narrative than substance, with McCain rising to prominence on the back of his bio as a suffering war hero and Obama mostly playing the part of long-lost, future-embracing liberal dreamboat not seen on the national stage since Bobby Kennedy died. If your stomach turns to read how Palin’s Kawasaki 704 glasses are flying off the shelves in Middle America, you have to accept that Middle America probably feels the same way when it hears Donatella Versace dedicated her collection to Obama during Milan Fashion Week. Or sees the throwing-panties-onstage-“I love you, Obama!” ritual at the Democratic nominee’s town-hall appearances.

So, sure, Barack Obama might be every bit as much as a slick piece of imageering as Sarah Palin. The difference is in what the image represents. The Obama image represents tolerance, intelligence, education, patience with the notion of compromise and negotiation, and a willingness to stare ugly facts right in the face, all qualities we’re actually going to need in government if we’re going to get out of this huge mess we’re in.”

I quoted Malkin’s website, not the blog you posted.

I severely doubt Obama’s tolerance and intelligence, and I absolutely question his education, especially since he has been influenced by Marxist Socialists.

“I quoted Malkin’s website, not the blog you posted.”

That’s the problem. You’re just repeating what others are saying. You should read the whole article and form your own opinion based on that.

“I severely doubt Obama’s tolerance and intelligence, and I absolutely question his education, especially since he has been influenced by Marxist Socialists.”

Can you give me specifics on why you think that? Let’s have it.

I did read the whole article, however, I quoted Malkin’s blog and gave credit to her because I saw the article on her website first. It’s called courtesy.

Also, anyone that takes their marching orders from Saul Alinksy, Jeremiah Wright, and Bill Ayers truly has no sense of intelligence.

Jann Wenner is a man…well, sort of.

  9. Matthew says:

Tolerance is requested while not exercised. Content is demanded, while not offered. Leadership is questions, but none is offered.

Typical hypocrasy… not just of liberals but of politicians and pundits in general.

  10. Kenneth says:

    “marching orders”

Marching orders? Man, you are too much.

  11. elixelx says:

Kenneth, just because you are a cunning linguist with a penchant for men with better educational qualifications then yours, doesn’t mean that you cannot be a nincompoop as well!
There, how’s that for the cheapest of all journalistic tricks, the PIVOT!
No offense meant, you turd! (oops, did it again!)

  12. Kenneth says:

Par for the course… I say something perfectly reasonable and someone pulls his or her head out of his or her ass long enough to hurl childishness at me.

It’s like you never graduated from “oh yeah? well take that!” class.

  13. elixelx says:

    Oh! Kenneth, me old cocker!
“Man, you are too much”. Now that’s REALLY reasonable discourse!
Man, if such you be, you are too much!
“It’s like you never graduated from “oh yeah? well take that!” class”
Well graduated or not, at least I still have SOME class!

  14. Kenneth says:

In spite of your mockery, I feel no need to defend myself. Just keep playing with yourself in the corner there.

  15. elixelx says:

Mockery, Kenneth, me olde darling? More like distaste and repugnance!
I eruct in your general direction, fart in your physiognomy, micturate on your verbiage, evacuate on your head!
That’s not Mockery, kenneth, me soiled compadre. That’s repulsion!

  16. Kenneth says:

Thanks for that dose of human waste. I really fit in here now.

  17. elixelx says:

So you concede that you were wrong in your original comments do you, Kenny-boy!
My replies must have you evacuating in your Pampers. I would have thought you’d have more stomach for a fight and not fall apart like wet paper!
Oh! well! I win again. It´s tooo easy against Liberals!

  18. Kenneth says:

My disinterest in humoring you is no concession. The problem is, I don’t need to play the fool to make a point, so this is going to remain a gimp fight—between you and you. Keep flailing; I’m done with this.
