Biden: Vote for Obama because he’s Black.

Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden, campaigning in North Carolina where black votes could help swing the state to the Democrats, said today that electing a black person to the White House would be transformative.

Biden said the policies of running mate Barack Obama make his presidency even more urgent and declared this to be the most important election that any living person has seen in their lifetime. But he particularly singled out the meaning of electing someone who is black.

“That will be a transformative event in American politics and internationally,” Biden said. “That all by itself will be significant.”

As a Hispanic, a “minority”, why does my vote have to be trivialized in such a way that it only counts if I vote for the “minority” in the Presidential race? Why can I not vote for the candidate who’s values mirror mine and who I believe will do the best job? Why are Black people, or any people, not shown respect to make up their own minds? I vote for conservative candidates. If a Democrat or Republican is pro-life, pro-business, pro-gun rights, pro-national security, and favors lowering taxes, they will receive my vote. The color of their skin does not matter, only the quality of their values.

    LOL LOL

He is scraping …… guess he can’t think of another reason

His fake resume doesn’t hold much hope….and of course his Marxist plans to tax and spend….to the tune of a TRILLION dollars is so appealing afterall.

If being ‘black’ is the only thing that qualifies you to be electable or transformative than why didn’t we elect Martin Luther King Jr. for president? Sure, he never ran and never served as a governor, mayor, war veteran, or anything else but—HE WAS BLACK, he spoke fluently and elegiacally, and he understood the struggle of black neighborhoods and communities.

But no the Dixie-crats saw him as a threat and thus tried to silence him and Rosa Parks and others from ever getting their voices heard.

I’m sick of their dog and pony-show (Biden and Obama). Biden is the more qualified but he has never voted with country first in mind and Obama has voted with his fellow Democrats and worked ONLY with his fellow Democrats; befriended radicals and fringe-groups, supported a corrupt system, and is hailed as one of the most left-winged senators in the Senate. All these people are doing is scraping and clawing for their poll numbers to come back and with the left-winged media by their side they keep scrounging and doing everything to win.

These are the people who say they would never cheat or steal an election but with a media this biased towards Republicans it practically is cheating. And when they go after Palin—I’ve never seen such derogative, sexist comments in politics but yet here they are. The party who says they’re openminded and accepting of all ideals, faiths, nationalities, sexes, and creeds have proven this year alone to be anything but. And the more and more they keep doing it, it’s almost like they’re taking a machine gun or a shotgun and firing off their whole foot.

They’ve proven they are a bunch of racist, intolerable, chauvinistic, narcisstic people who lie through their teeth, lie to each other, lie to the American people, and have based their whole lives on deception, fraud, and scandal.

Thank God for the mavericks who’ll change Washington and hopefully kick out alot of these backpocket-dealers and under-the-table-bribers and people who don’t represent the people but themselves.

Well one thing I have learned during this season is that if you do not have a video to show me, I really don’t believe it.

So many lies and distortions to make a real comment.

Show me the clip, please! As I am not dumb enough to believe everything I hear.

They killed him, just like you are willing to kill Obama with your lies. Obama has help people in this day as well. Are you saying that he didn’t?

You all act like Obama himself has made sexist remarks against Palin. Actually, there are two remarks in particular that have been distored in an attempt to project the same thing on Obama as was tried during the Primaries. There are many that will fall for it, but there are many that will not because they actually see politics every day, following every candidate to make the best choice.

The common comment that Obama made about a pig with lipstick was taken so far out of context until it was shameful. I listened to the comment when it was made initially, and knew exactly what he was saying, it was plain. However, the crowd loved it, for what reason? Maybe because he was finally hitting back and letting McCain know that they were attempting to dress up the same old policies that got us in this mess today.

You will never see that when you always have your wall and your guns cocked because you look for the negatives and nothing positive, you look for something to solidfy your reasons for not voting for Obama. WHen you step outside of your biases and actually hear what Obama is saying, then and only then will you be able to make a decision based on the policies and not your party’s spin.

I initially liked Palin myself and I am an Independent. She caught my attention with her speech, but I am not so locked up in supporting a party that I would overlook what is really happening with her. She is a liar, and that is the truth. There is no way that one can research Palin and put her message to the test and come up with anything other than, she is a liar, she is disrespectful to those that work for her, because he fires many and hires her own friends, there is a problem with a person’s character that would do this numerous times. You may not want to admit it, but if it were your child, your husband, or friend that lied like she has, you would do something about it before it affects your life in the worst way.

I know the Republicans are happy to have someone interesting and new, and they should be; because they surely do not have a real republican in McCain, so I do understand. But at what cost do you protect someone that you know has a great chance of becoming President on day five? Can you really believe that if McCain were gone on day five she would be the person to handle a war in two countries?

I am sadden that this is what we are facing and people are running behind a party for the sake of being loyal to a party when we are losing the American dream daily. Today should be a great sign of that.

I hope that people will get over any bias they have against either candidate and look at the policies, the true lies, the real flip flops, etc. and make a decision to select the best candidate for our country no matter the color or the age. We are in trouble people.
